Replace my card
How do I add my new card to my existing account?
If you have received a replacement card, you can add it to your existing account. The balance from your old card will automatically be transferred to your new card when this is done. Your account must be registered in order to replace your card online.
Please note that this will delete the details for your previous card, including transaction history.
How do I order a new card?
If you have not yet ordered your new card, you can click here to get one online. If you have a school or council card, you will need to order one from them directly.
In order to replace your old card in your account, you will need to:-
Make sure your old card is blocked. If your card is registered, you can block your card online. Click here for more details.
When you log into your account, you will see that your account has been suspended and there will be an option to 'replace' your old card with the new one
When you are asked if you are happy to replace your old card, select 'Yes' and enter the details of your new card. Please be aware that you will lose the details to your old card, including transaction history
You will now be able to see your new card in your account and will be able to top it up and view transactions. The remaining balance from your old card will have been automatically transferred over.
Please note...
What happens if I find my old sQuid card?
After replacing your old card, we will not be able to unblock it if you subsequently find it.
What if the balance transferred is not correct?
sQuid will only transfer the remaining balance on the card that is left after the card has been blocked. sQuid is not liable for any payments made on the card before we were advised of the loss. If you wish to query the amount transferred, please email customerservice@squidcard.com
