How to register your St Augustine's smart card
You should register your St Augustine's smart card with sQuid; you will then be able to login on to your child's account at anytime to check their balance, view the transactions they have made and to top up their card as you wish.
Step 1 - Create a sQuid account and register
Firstly you need to create an account with sQuid. You will need to give your personal details, create a username and password, and you own personal security question and answer.
Please note that you will need to create a separate account for each card you wish to register. For example if you have more than one child at the school or are registering a replacement card.
Register your card with sQuid:
- Enter a few personal details to create an account
- Top up your sQuid cashless catering account onlineĀ
- Top up from a bank transfer/credit or debit card
- Protect your card balance should it be lost or stolen
Step 2 - Enter your card number
Having done that you will be prompted to register your sQuidcard, linking it to your sQuid account. Make sure you are logged on to your sQuid account and then enter the unique number on the back of your card (the longer 16 digit one) and the three digit security code (also called a CVV number). Your card will then be registered.

Step 3 - Add money to your cashless catering purse
Top up the cashless catering purse on your account sQuid is a smart way for you to top up your cashless catering purse online, so that you can then pay for your lunch or a snack from the school canteen.
Having completed steps 1 and 2, you will see a cashless catering purse on your sQuid account when you login; with the cashless catering image above. You need to add funds to this purse; we call this topping up your card. You can top up your sQuid account by bank transfer, or from a credit or debit card.
Login to your sQuid account to:
- Check your balance; do you need to top up?
- View your transactions to check your spending
- Top up your account; bank transfer/credit or debit card
- Update your details and preferences
You can logon and check your balance at anytime. We’ll break down every transaction so you can see exactly where those pennies are going. Every month we’ll send you an email with your statement.
You’ll be able to reload your sQuidcard online, from the comfort of your own home. You can do this via debit or credit card. Alternatively you can top up your card from a smart station at school.
View your personal details at anytime online. You can also update these by clicking on the Edit details button. You can also change your Email address and Password too.
A sQuidcard is safer than using cash. How can this be so? If your card is registered and you lose it, just let the school know and they will replace it. Any balance will be transferred to the new card.
