All about your Bolton College issued smart card
Bolton College have teamed up with sQuid to introduce the very latest in smart card technology designed to make your life and time at College that much easier.
Card holders can now use sQuid eMoney on their College card to pay for items such as food and drink on the College campus. It's convenient, safe and secure, and can be topped up with money online so you don't have to bring cash to college. Simply register your card online with sQuid.
Student cards
All students are issued with a Bolton College card when they enrol at the College.
Staff cards
All staff are issued with a Bolton College card when they start working at the College.
How, and where can I pay with sQuid?
Register your card to protect your balance. Then top it up online or at some of the campus locations; you can also top up at a number of sQuid retail outlets in Bolton. Use sQuid on your card to pay for things at:

Create a sQuid account and register your card
Register your card with sQuid:
- Enter a few personal details to create an account
- Top up your sQuid account online
- Top up from a bank transfer/credit or debit card
- Protect your card balance should it be lost or stolen
Login to your sQuid account to:
- Check your balance; do you need to top up?
- View your transactions to check your spending
- Top up your account; bank transfer/credit or debit card
- Update your details and preferences

You can logon and check your balance at anytime. You can also view your transactions to see exactly how much has been spent and when. You can also download a copy of your transactions.
You can top up your sQuid account online, from the comfort of your own home. You can do this using a debit or credit card, or from your bank account.
View your personal details at anytime online. You can also update these by clicking on the Edit details button. You can also change your Email address and Password too.
sQuid is safer than using cash. Once you have created a sQuid account and registered your card it can be reported lost and then 'hot listed'. Any remaining balance can be transferred to a new card.
