The sQuid database
At the heart of the sQuid payments network is sQuidcard’s processing centre. The centre is housed in a fortified building managed and monitored 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

This processing centre manages the receipt of payments, refunds and top-up transactions, loads credit onto cards, feeds information to the customer portal and is used to block cards should one be lost or stolen.

sQuidcard take security very seriously and has incorporated a bespoke security schema from the outset of the design with Triple Data Encryption cryptographics used throughout.
