Ethical caterer wins school catering contract
25 Aug 2011

Head teachers hoping to make changes to their school catering techniques could be inspired to take out work from an external contractor.

A recent article published by Caterer Search revealed that ethical catering business Pabulum has been selected to provide its services at a Weston-super-Mare institute.

The £1 million contract is expected to run over five years and will see the company produce nutritious meals for students at Worle Community School.

Pabulum has enjoyed significant success in recent months after being awarded the Good Egg Award from Compassion in World Farming for its use of strictly free-range products.

Director of Sales Amanda Ciraulo said the company's "cost-effective catering solutions rely on an in-depth understanding of each client's specific requirements and this is only possible if we maintain a strong personal relationship with each customer".

The school's previous caterer was ABM Catering, which offered a healthy option of wholesome food in a three-week menu rotation since 2007.
