McDonald's offers cashless catering option
20 Jul 2009
Arch Cards provided by McDonald's can be used to pay for the company's new drinks, which are being promoted over the next month as part of Mocha Mondays.
The cashless catering option will be one method of payment for the firm's McCafe Coffees - in the restaurant or via the drive-thru - although customers can get hold of free drinks each Monday from now until August 3rd.
"Mondays just got a little easier with McDonald's Mocha Mondays, where consumers can cool off with a complimentary 7 oz Iced Mocha or indulge in an 8 oz Hot Mocha each Monday from 07:00 to 19:00 local time," said a statement from the fast food chain.
Not all restaurants will be taking part in the promotion and prices vary between the different outlets.
In a similar way to the McDonald's Arch Cards, living without cash is becoming a way of life for Subway and Domino's customers in Bolton who can use the sQuidcard in both of these establishments to pay for their food and drink.
