New All Saints Academy launches cashless catering
2 Sep 2011

Pupils set to attend the newly opened All Saints Academy in West Cheltenham, Gloucestershire will be able to take advantage of the innovative cashless catering system.

According to 24dash.com, the new method of payment will be used for those attending the educational institution in a bid to make lunchtimes a more efficient exercise.

The academy, which opens its doors for the first time in September, is close to reaching its final phase of development and will be sponsored by the Dioceses of Clifton and Gloucestershire.

Peter Kingham, Principal and ex-Director of Education at Oasis Academies UK, stated that partnerships between the private and public sectors would help the institution provide support for the region's young people.

"We believe this is the way forward and will enable us to make the most progress, rather than following the traditional supplier-customer relationship," he added.

This news emerges after independent contract caterer Pabulum announced plans to introduce a cashless catering payment system at Ravens Wood Schoolin Bromley, Kent, Caterer Search reports.
