Pabulum launches cashless catering contract
23 Aug 2011
Head teachers looking to alter the way mealtimes are run in their institutions could be interested in recent news about contract catering company Pabulum.
According to Caterer Search, the company has been selected to provide nutritious lunches for pupils at Ravens Wood School in Bromley, Kent as part of a £1.3 million deal.
In a bid to revolutionise the school's dining system, the company is set to introduce a cashless repayment method to speed up the queuing process for the 1,500 pupils.
The agreement is set to coincide with the launch of a new food technology and dining facility at the institute, where students will be able to enjoy a new coffee shop.
Paul Donlan, Pabulum's Director of Sales, said: "Our commitment to delivering high-quality catering solutions that are both innovative and cost effective … is a very attractive proposition in today's tough economic climate."
Earlier this month, the contract caterer announced plans to provide its services at Watford Grammar School for Boys, which is ranked within the UK's top 100 schools.
