Pabulum secures more school catering contracts
9 Sep 2011
New school catering contracts in the Cambridgeshire area have been secured by Pabulum in the last week.
The independent contract caterer has been awarded a three-year deal to provide meals to more than 2,000 students at Swavesey Village College and Park Academy, an arrangement that comes into effect this academic year, reports Caterersearch.com.
Worth more than £700,000, the new deal has been agreed as the two schools prepare to become part of the Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust, with pupils from both establishments having been involved in the process.
Paul Donlan, director of sales for Pabulum, said the company embraces a hands-on relationship with clients to ensure interaction with students.
"That way there is always an opportunity for feedback and adjustment to make sure menus remain appealing and varied enough to maintain students' interest," he said.
Earlier this month, the company won a five-year contract to supply meals to Worle Community School in Weston Super Mare.
