Clinton Cards to offer new payment processing schemes
7 Jun 2011

Clinton Cards has agreed a deal with payment processing service company Realex Payments, so that customers can experience more choice when trading with the firm online.

The leading greetings card store's partnership means that an array of payment processing techniques will be available, across many channels.

Realex Payments, a UK online payments service provider that has connections with companies such as Vodafone, Party Poker and The AA, already processes around £9 billion for merchants on both domestic and international platforms.

Such an acquisition comes soon after Clinton Cards revealed that it was hoping to reverse its falling sales figures through a range of techniques.

Some of these schemes include launching a new website for customers to visit, as well as launch its very own loyalty card.

Tactics such as these are being done in the hope that they "can help us to win back some … sales", the high-street store's financial director Paul Salador recently revealed.
