Innovative eMoney parking payment operation awarded

A Bermuda-based company has picked up an industry award for its parking payment solutions. 

Agility Ltd, a distributor of On Track Innovations (OTI) EasyPark system, has been awarded the 'Innovation of the Year' title at a prestigious government ceremony. 

Customers using the technology have access to an in-vehicle electronic parking meter, which eliminates the need for unsightly pay points around the country and lowers infrastructure costs. 

Motorists use a smart card to make payments which helps lower the risk of fraud and losses as a result of sabotage, while EasyPark also saves users time and money. 

EasyPark's Director Norris Ebbin said: "The Innovation of the Year award represents how quickly EasyPark has become the parking solution of choice for Bermuda's parking community." 

Despite the technology only recently being launched in the country, 30 per cent of the population already use EasyPark payment solutions.
