New tourism smartcard set to be launched in Singapore
31 Dec 2010

A new tourism smartcard is set to be launched in Singapore, according to reports.

Channel News Asia has revealed that tourists will be able to purchase the See Singapore Attractions Pass from January 5th next year.

The scheme has been created by entertainment experience provider iVenture Card and will allow users to access various tourist attractions with a single card. It will be available in both a one-day and five-day format.

Thibault Paquin, managing director of iVenture Card Asia, expressed his belief that the new technology will be useful for all holidaymakers in the country.

He told the news provider: "There's always something for you to do. You can build your own itinerary, your own experience based on your liking, your time.

"If you're a couple on a honeymoon, or if you're an adventure lover, there's always something to do. We have over 20 entries on the pass, and we classify them by theme. So this card we believe is the best way to see Singapore."
