iSend and eWay looking to expand operations to UK
16 May 2011
Brits will soon be able to gain access to even more techniques that will allow them to expand on their contactless payment options.
First, US electronics payments provider iSend Worldwide Payment is planning to bring its service to British shores.
Such an announcement will mean that individuals will be able to aid members of their family with methods which includes topping up mobile phones, buying gift cards from shops and paying recurring monthly bills.
These will then be available for in-country pickup, with 60,000 online and retail locations making sure there are plenty of payment options to choose from.
Meanwhile, eWay, an Australian electronic payment gateway developer, will also be looking to expand its services to the UK in the future.
The firm aims to help smaller retail companies across the country, by making online credit card payment methods available to them.
In order to set up its UK operations, eWay is planning on building an operation portal within Edinburgh.
