Little Chef next to embrace contactless eMoney solutions
21 Jul 2010

Little Chef has become the latest UK firm to adopt contactless eMoney solutions, it has been revealed.

The company will deploy the technology in all of its 173 UK restaurants, as well as its Coffee Tempo branches and Burger King franchises.

Customers will benefit from quick and secure contactless payments as transactions can be completed without the need for a PIN code.

The scheme is ideal for the roadside restaurant chain as cardholders will be able to enjoy their meal quickly before continuing their journey.

Tracey Mulligan, interim managing director at Little Chef, claimed the firm is committed to improving customer service with new technology.

She said: "We believe that contactless is an important part of the future of payments and are committed to embracing it in its early stages."

Last week, Co-operative and AMT Coffee also introduced the technology in their stores.
