Brighton and Hove Albion introduce new loyalty scheme
21 Mar 2011

A new loyalty programme is being launched by Brighton and Hove Albion.

The change will come into place when the football club moves to its new home at the American Express Community Stadium later this year.

Fans of the Seagulls - who beat Oldham Athletic 1-0 over the weekend - will be awarded points every time they buy tickets for a home or away league or cup match, quoting their fan number as they do so.

When tickets for important games then go on sale, the club will reveal how many points supporters need if they want to apply during the priority period.

Managing director Ken Brown said the scheme has been introduced due to the "huge" increase in demand for tickets at the new stadium.

"It won't apply to all games, it will depend on anticipated demand and where we envisage demand outweighing our ticket allocation, this is the fairest way to distribute tickets," he continued.
