Bristol City FC offers discounts to loyalty scheme members

Bristol City FC has announced that it will offer discounts to members of its loyalty scheme.

Season ticket holders will be eligible for a ten per cent discount on any purchases made in the club's store, and for the first time, on its website.

Gordon MacPherson, retail development director at Bristol City, revealed the championship side wanted to reward its loyal fans for their support.

He told the team's official website: "This discount offer is one of many that will follow throughout the campaign and is the first time we have been able to offer this discount online.

"With Christmas now just over six weeks away, we hope this will prove to be an early seasonal bonus to our most loyal fans."

In order to claim the discount, fans must present their members smart card, which is also used to enter the ground, to the cashier.

The offer will run until 19th November and follows Bristol's impressive 1-0 win at play-off hopefuls Swansea.
