Electronics firm Comet launches loyalty scheme
7 Oct 2011
High street electronics firm Comet has launched a new loyalty scheme designed to save shoppers money and encourage repeat visits before the end of 2011.
The retailer has unveiled its Comet Perks programme, which people can register for until October 30th 2011 by making a purchase.
Participants can then get money off things they buy in November and December, something that could prove popular for people starting their Christmas shopping soon.
The first money-off opportunity is worth £5, then consumers will get ten per cent off for items bought after this, including everything from printer cartridges to eBook readers.
Everyone registered will also get regular updates about new offers, so they may be encouraged to shop with Comet even more.
Earlier this month, the Independent Alliance also launched a loyalty scheme designed to boost the number of people shopping at independent bookshops, which will run in association with the Guardian and the Observer.
