Floristry loyalty scheme 'doing well'
20 Apr 2011

loyalty scheme launched by Deliflor's Deliflorins is proving to be popular, it has been reported.

The chrysanthemum breeder introduced the programme as the first ever initiative of its kind for cut flowers, Professional Florist reports.

It allows people purchasing the blooms to collect codes which they can then save up and exchange for prizes.

Customers are encouraged to buy various types of chrysanthemum as each variety has a different code, the news provider continued.

The online project was launched in October 2010 and individuals from all over Europe can take part.

Some of the prizes awarded to wholesalers and expert companies this month included a year's subscription to a floristy magazine, a travel voucher and a single-lens reflex camera.

Another reward scheme that appears to be performing well is that launched in Hinckley by the local Times newspaper.

About 1,300 people signed up to the initiative in just over a week.
