Heathrow introduces rail loyalty card
16 Jul 2012

Frequent fliers will welcome the news that London’s largest airport is introducing a loyalty scheme for customers travelling to the airport by rail.

The WorldPoints card currently offers users one point for every £1 spent in shops, restaurants, bars and car parks at Heathrow.

This scheme has now been extended to include the Heathrow Express, the train that runs from Paddington Station to the airport. Taking only 15 minutes, this is one of the fastest and most cost effective ways to getting to the airport from central London.

John Holland Kaye , commercial director, of the British Airports Authority (BAA) said:  “Heathrow Express coming on board as an official partner means passengers have yet another way of gaining benefits alongside their airport purchases, making their visit to the airport an even more rewarding experience.”

For every 500 points collected, customers can get £5 off future journeys and until August 31st 2012 rail users will be given triple points on their journey when booked online.
