Ilkley loyalty scheme grows in popularity
6 Nov 2009
A member of the Ilkley Business Forum LS29 Community Loyalty Scheme has said he cannot see why all local businesses are not involved in the initiative.
Geoff Cook from Classic Bathrooms said that the fact it is free to join and has been proved to work for those who use it prompted him to ask the question to the Ilkley Gazette: "Why isn't everyone in it?"
"It's something for nothing - I still can't quite believe how easy it is," he explained.
The loyalty programme sees companies offer customers discounts on the proviso that they present a specific voucher when making their purchase.
Nearly 50 firms have signed up to the deal, while the forum hopes that membership can grow to over 100 in the near future.
Individual companies that run loyalty marketing schemes in the UK include Pizza Hut, Subway and Domino's.
All three of these firms have linked up with eCash network sQuidcard to offer such schemes.
