Kenyan loyalty scheme members to be offered in-store discounts
2 Mar 2011
Members of a loyalty scheme in Kenya will be offered exclusive discounts on goods at one of the city's biggest retailers, according to reports.
Capital FM Kenya has revealed that retailer Nakumatt will be holding a half-price sale throughout this week (28th February until 6th March) for all of its loyalty cardholders.
Shoppers in Nairobi, Kisumu and Mombasa will all be able to purchase selected household goods and furniture at discount prices on a first-come, first-served basis.
Atul Shah, managing director of Nakumatt Holdings, claimed that the firm's loyalty scheme will be revamped in the future in order to give members even more benefits.
He told the news provider: "The staging of the Nakumatt 50 per cent off sale is part of our commitment to periodically reward our loyal shoppers even as we step up a strategic program to rationalise our store stocks with new merchandise.
"With the planned re-launch of the new generation Nakumatt Smart Card, our shoppers will continue enjoying exclusive benefits besides the traditional point's accumulation and redemption."
