Loyalty programme in Galway
1 Sep 2009
Members of the public in Galway, Ireland will soon be able to buy a platinum loyalty card that can be used to pay for items across the country.
The Galway Independent reports that the iBuyvouchers.com initiative, which was launched by Galleon Restaurant managing director Roger O'Sullivan, will be beneficial to local residents and charities.
For every card sold, 75 per cent of the money will be given to charities across Ireland, the newspaper states.
Perks of using the card are that various offers can be accessed by customers and businesses involved should see regular commercial activity.
Mr O'Sullivan said that he was "delighted" to be able to help "worthy" charities in his home country.
Coffee Republic offer consumers a loyalty programme, which is run by eMoney network sQuidcard.
Each time the card is used by a customer, they receive ten per cent back as a 'thank you' for choosing to shop at the coffee shop.
