Nectar agrees new marketing deal
20 Apr 2011

Nectar, the leading loyalty programme in the UK, has signed a new marketing deal with ClickThrough Marketing.

The Lichfield-based company will help the loyalty scheme giant to improve its online presence by aligning its search engine optimisation and pay-per-click strategies.

ClickThrough has previously worked with brands such as Peugeot and Comic Relief.

Managing director and founder of the company Phil Robinson said it is "extremely excited" to be working with Nectar.

Maureen McDonagh, ecommerce director at the loyalty enterprise said it is "confident that the work undertaken by ClickThrough Marketing will be beneficial to the continuing success of nectar.com".

The main focus of the partnership will be to boost sales outside of the brand and promote its iPhone app and online toolbar, which is powered by Yahoo!.

Last month, Nectar announced that individuals taking part in its loyalty programme will now be able to exchange their points for easyJet flights to more than 550 destinations in 30 countries.
