New loyalty card from Capital One

Finance provider Capital One has launched a new loyalty programme this month, with a discount card that gives customers money off at selected retailers.

These include Ted Baker, Zavvi and Viagogo, This is Money reports, with the Click Card providing people with the best credit ratings 9.9 per cent APR on balance transfers, purchases and cash withdrawals.

According to the news source, Capital One intends to add new discounts and deals to its loyalty offerings every three months.

"As always, discounts only save you money when you buy an item you were already thinking about purchasing. Although tempting, you should avoid buying items purely because of the discount," the publication reminded consumers.

Another loyalty card has been enjoying some success, helping boost the numbers at the Majestic Bingo Club.

Run by the Worcester News, new players using the card are given a £3 voucher, while existing members introducing fresh gamers to the club will also be offered this discount.
