North Star Emporium launches loyalty scheme
8 Mar 2011
A new loyalty card scheme has been launched in Worcester that could see customers saving money.
According to the Worcester News, The North Star Emporium is hoping to attract shoppers into its store with a loyalty programme which offers discounts of up to ten per cent.
Owner Tina Brisbourne explained that households that have the Worcester News delivered will get the loyalty card for free, along with a variety of incentives and discounts.
She told the newspaper: "My customers are loyal and this card rewards their loyalty to people like me – independent store owners.
“The loyalty card is a huge incentive for people to shop here, and I’m a local trader putting money into the local economy."
The North Star Emporium sells a variety of locally-produced goods, including vintage timber chairs and art.
Earlier this month, it was announced that a new loyalty scheme has been launched in Kenya, offering customers discounts at some of the country's biggest stores.
