Oxfordshire farm shop joins local loyalty scheme
29 Mar 2011
A farm shop in Oxfordshire is offering discounts to people taking part in a local loyalty scheme.
Certain readers of the Oxford Mail newspaper can now get ten per cent of their purchases at Dews Meadow Farm Shop.
To do this, they have to receive the publication's loyalty card, which is available to those paying for the paper to be delivered six times a week.
The shop is located in East Hanney, near Wantage and sells a variety of goods such as pork - all of which are produced at the farm.
Jane Bowler, who runs the business with her husband Andy, said: "We are very proud of our pork and people come again and again to buy our joints, sausages, pies, pasties and pate."
More than 140 local businesses currently take part in the loyalty scheme, including the Oxford Wine Company and Oxford Greyhound Stadium.
Another is the Bathe in Beauty salon, which is based at the Ozone Health Club and offers customers ten per cent off all treatments costing over £10.
