Restaurant launches loyalty scheme to coincide with National Curry Week
7 Oct 2011
An Indian restaurant has launched a new loyalty scheme to coincide with National Curry Week, something that could prompt other eateries up and down the country to do the same.
The Rajah in Inverness has now rolled out its members' card, which allows regular visitors to keep track of its special offers, receive discounts and more, the John O'Groats Journal reports.
Established 30 years ago, The Rajah also offers a takeaway service and the chance for children to sample its dishes, perhaps starting them out on a lifelong passion for Indian food.
National Curry Week takes place between October 9th and 15th 2011 and will see arrange of events taking place in supermarkets and restaurants to raise money for The Curry Tree project, which fights poverty in Asia.
People hoping to join in at home can also download recipe ideas to make their own dishes from scratch after collecting ingredients at participating retailers.
