Rochdale loyalty card schemes a big hit with residents

A new loyalty card scheme in Rochdale has proved to be a big success with local residents, it has been revealed.

Around 2,000 consumers have signed up for the Love Rochdale, Love Loyalty programme, which offers cardholders a range of discounts and offers in participating retailers, reports Manchester Evening News.

Over 60 businesses in Rochdale town centre now accept the card, including local restaurants, car dealerships and beauty parlours.

The scheme was developed by Rochdale Town Centre Management in an effort to attract shoppers to the area and support local firms.

Debbie O'Brien, Rochdale Town Centre Manager told rochdaletowncentre.co.uk: "It's really important that we continue to raise the profile of our town centre and to make people want to come and see what we actually do have to offer.

"The offers will be changed regularly to keep you interested and regular prize draws will take place for those of you showing the card when shopping so you have nothing to lose!"
