Shell's US customers to benefit from new loyalty scheme
31 Aug 2010

Shell customers in the US will soon be able to save money on fuel following the launch of a new loyalty scheme.

Shell has expanded its partnership with American supermarket Kroger to allow shoppers to gain loyalty points which can be redeemed at Shell stations across the country.

Customers who hold a Kroger-branded card will earn points every time they shop in any of its stores, including the Hilander and Dillons supermarkets.

Dan Little, North America fuels marketing manager for Shell Oil Products US, said: "Our participation in this program is helping our customers fill their gas tanks for less.

"In today's economic times, it's more important than ever for companies like Kroger and Shell to join forces to offer our customers optimum savings and rewards."

A discount of 10 cents per gallon is available for every 100 points collected, with users able to benefit from the programme for a maximum purchase of 35 gallons.
