UK consumers offered loyalty scheme advice
28 Mar 2011

The benefits of a number of different high street loyalty solutions have been explained to consumers.

Writing for the Daily Telegraph, Emma Wall highlighted the top four cards available to those doing their shopping in the UK.

One of the most popular, she explained, is the Nectar scheme which gives people the chance to collect points from a number of retailers including Sainsbury's, Debenhams and Amazon.co.uk.

The Boots Advantage card allows users to collect four points every time they spend £1 in the cosmetics store, while the Tesco Clubcard may be ideal for those who do large supermarket shops each week.

Ms Wall also advised individuals that Airmiles is the longest-running loyalty scheme in the UK, with shoppers able to earn points from "almost everything you buy".

Nectar recently revealed 17.5 million people have now signed up to its loyalty scheme, with the final quarter of 2010 alone seeing a rise of 800,000 individuals.
