Plusnet staff set to benefit from eMoney solutions
31 Aug 2010
Staff at internet service provider Plusnet will soon be able to use eMoney solutions, it has been revealed.
The firm has chosen to deploy sQuid's cashless payment service across its offices to enable employees to pay for goods without the need for cash.
A new Uniwell catering till system will be introduced by the company to facilitate the card payment and allow users to add credit to their accounts.
Dan Kirkland, solutions architect at Plusnet, expressed his belief that the new service will be more efficient than the previous cash system.
He said: "Working with sQuid provides a great opportunity to modernize our internal processes, offering efficiency and a great service to our staff."
The current Plusnet staff ID cards, which allow holders to access buildings, will be modified to incorporate the new payment technology.
Electronic payments provider sQuid currently offers its services to a range of organisations, including schools, transit operators and retailers.
