sQuid is deliciously simple
All you need to get started with sQuid is get a card with sQuid on it, load some money on to it and then start using it. Hold your card near the sQuid Reader for a few seconds until your transaction is completed - listen for the beep and wait for the green lights - and you're done.

OTI - On Track Innovations: Contactless Readers

The Saturn 6000is the latest addition to OTI's contactless readers family supporting payment & loyalty programs. The Saturn 6000 supports major financial contactless programs utilizing OTI's enhanced firmware architecture, based on multi-layer, multi-application approach where the application resides separately and securely.

Readers display the balance on your card. When you make a contactless payment, the transaction value is displayed and the new balance on your card confirmed.

Ingenico
Ingenico are a global provider of secure transaction solutions, earning an international reputation for reliability, versatility and usability. sQuid contactless payments launch on Ingenico devices in February 2009 - read the Ingenico sQuid press release.

Bringing together its secure payment expertise and leading ergonomics, Ingenico designs, produces and implements terminals and associated software solutions for leading local and international customers including banks, retailers, hospitality and mobile markets.

The Ingenico EFT930 Series is a mobile payment terminal, which includes a contactless reader, so that you don't need a separate contactless reader too. Being light weight, hands free and user-friendly it is the ideal unit for managing loyalty and e-money payments in busy environments.

Gemalto sQuid also work with Gemalto, another leading technology provider in the contactless payments industry. In December 2008, Gemalto awarded sQuidcard their award for "payments innovation" - read the full press release. sQuidcard, the eMoney operator, received the award from Gemalto e-Payments Terminals for “the innovative design and features of sQuid, deployed on a Gemalto terminal” at Gemalto’s International Partner event held during the international Cartes exhibition in Paris 2008.
