Your new sQuid KeMU card

About sQuid on your KeMU campus card issued by Family Bank
You will soon be able to use sQuid to make those small, everyday purchases at Kenya Methodist University. You'll be issued with a KeMU sQuid card which you'll need to register using the links below. Once that's done, you'll be able to top it up and spend the money at various outlets on campus. The card is easy to use and very safe. It includes 3 different purses, which can be topped up online to then make payments for small value items, fees for tuition and fees for your general up-keep.

 

Your card has already been registered

Your card should have been registered at Family Bank
Your card should have already been registered with sQuid at Family Bank when you received it and a sQuid account created for you. A welcome email was sent to you with your chosen registration details including your password. You can now log on to your account at anytime to check your balance and view your transactions.

Login in to your sQuid account at any time, to:
- Check your balance; do you need to top-up?
- View your transactions to check your spending
- Top-up your account; bank transfer/credit or debit card
- Update your details and preferences

 

About your KeMU campus card

Kenya Methodist University (KeMU)
KeMU are pleased to be working on this exciting new initiative with Family Bank and HELB. We are working with sQuid, a UK based company with an office here in Nairobi, Kenya, and we are the first University in the Country to adopt this exciting new smart card technology from sQuid. The card is currently in use in a number of prominent UK universities, and has proved successful amongst staff and students for it’s ease of use and convenience.

Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
The Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) was established in 1995 and mandated to administer the Students Loan Scheme. The aim to provide affordable loans, bursaries and scholarships to Kenyans pursuing higher education.
