How does it work?
sQuid is deliciously simple
All your customer needs to get started with sQuid is to get a card with sQuid on it, load some money on to it and then start using it. All you as a merchant need to do is a sQuid terminal and reader installed.
Get it
You can get a sQuidcard Online now or you can pick one up from a participating sQuid store. sQuid can also be found on Bolton Council smart cards, including the BSmart card.
Load it
You can load your card with anything up to £100, which is the maximum amount you can have on your card at any one time. You can do this Online once you have registered your sQuid card or top up at a participating sQuid store.
Use it
You can use a sQuid card wherever you see the sQuid ‘Q’. Tell the retailer that you'll be paying by sQuid. Check the amount on screen, hold your card near the sQuid reader, hold it for a few seconds until your transaction is completed and you're done.
Once you are set up as a sQuid merchant you will have an online account, which you can access at anytime, to view all transactions that have taken place in your store.
