I want to register a sQuidcard
You’ve got your sQuidard, so what next?
Well, if you’ve loaded your sQuidcard with cash then you’re ready to ‘sWoosh and go’.
However, if you want to take advantage of some nifty little extras, you can register your card and create an account. All you have to do is submit your sQuidcard’s 18 digit number and a few details about yourself.
sQuid on another card?
If you have sQuid on another card, such as the Bolton Council smart card then you can register with sQuid and set up an account in the same way by entering the unique number on the front of the card.

What's the balance on my card?
You can logon and check your balance at anytime. We’ll break down every transaction so you can see exactly where those pennies are going. Every month we’ll send you an email with your statement.
Easy to top up
You’ll be able to reload your sQuidcard online, from the comfort of your own home. You can do this via debit or credit card. Alternatively you can top up your card at a store that accepts sQuidcard.
Alert me when...
we can send you a reminder when your card balance falls below a certain amount, so you’ll never run out of sQuid. You can choose whether we send the reminder via email, SMS, or not at all. It’s all up to you.
Protect it
A sQuidcard is safer than using cash. How can this be so? If your card is registered and you lose it, just let us know and we’ll replace it. We’ll even transfer your balance to the new card, so you won’t lose any money.
