What is the school cashless catering system all about?
University Church of England Academy has teamed up with sQuid to introduce a new cashless catering system. Students will use biometric identification to pay for transactions, linked to an online sQuid account. It's convenient, safe and secure, and can be topped up online so you don't have to bring cash to school.
"As part of our on-going commitment to bring the best technology to support our students and parents we are pleased to be able to work in partnership with sQuid to provide a world class electronic payment service. sQuid will provide a comprehensive service to enable parents and carers to pay for students' meals using the most convenient method for them thus eliminating the need to find cash every day. We will also be extending the use of sQuid to allow payments for other Academy related matters such as trips, events etc.
Please look out for your child’s personal sQuid number with Decembers edition of Compass magazine delivered to your household. If you do not receive your copy of the magazine, please contact the Academy to request your sQuid ID number.
Further information will follow over the next two months ready for our launch date of 10th January 2011. If you have any queries in the meantime please don’t hesitate to contact the Academy on 0151 338 2400"
