What does "To collect" mean?
What does it mean if I have a balance 'To collect'?
If your top up is showing as ‘To collect’, this means the funds have cleared and are waiting to be loaded onto your sQuid card. The next time you hold your card against a sQuid reader to make a purchase or check your balance the money will be loaded onto your card and ready for you to spend.
Using a biometric ID for your sQuid account?
Will I see a 'To collect' balance if I don't use a smart card?
If you have topped up an online account, the funds may show in your sQuid account as 'To Collect' for a brief time. These funds will be automatically added to your catering account within the hour - you do not need to hold your finger against a sQuid reader. When the funds are added, your 'To Collect' balance should just show as £0.00.
If this is not the case and you can still see a balance 'To collect' then your school may be having trouble downloading the funds, for example their internet connection may have gone down. If this is the case please contact us and we will contact your school and do our best to try and resolve this. Thank you.
