What does pending mean?

What is a pending amount shown on your account?
A pending amount is cleared funds that are waiting to be loaded onto your sQuid card. The next time you hold your card against a sQuid reader to make a purchase or check your balance the money will be loaded onto your card and ready for you to spend.
